Weight today: 175.4
I will accept that my body will take a while to get used to this, so I'm not expecting any real results for about a week, so I don't mind the slight increase from yesterday. But I ate better yesterday, no fast food, just a chocolate bar mid-day. Had fish and fruit for supper, salad and a chicken sandwich for lunch.
The thing I'm having the most trouble getting used to is planning when to do the oil or sugar water thing. It has to be 1 hour before and after any food (and this includes gum or toothpaste). There cannot be any flavour associated with the calories. Right now my plan is a tablespoon (15ml) of oil twice a day (total of 240 calories), and sugar water twice a day (90 calories total).
My goal is to drop down to about 160/165 (depending on the ammount of exercise I am getting at that point - muscle weighs more than fat).
Speaking of exercise, I'm avoiding elevators if at all possible, including work. I used to work on my feet and had a lot of carrying and lifting to do, and I never had a problem with fat back then (even though my diet was terrible). I also walked or bussed everywhere, and now have a car. I miss that natural exercise as I'm stuck at a desk again now.
Let's see what the rest of the week holds.
